Tomayto, Tomahto.
Designed and created for User Experience 575 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This was a 12-part project-based course in which myself along with two others worked collaboratively to create a mock business that focuses on sustainability. The focus of our mock business is to provide an application and service that people located in Madison looking for affordable and nutritious food can use. The food is sourced from grocery stores and distributors as they are reaching expiration or are too imperfect to be play displayed. The food is then repurposed and sold as a low-cost alternative for anyone. While we all worked on every aspect, my specific job was icon designer, in which the icons can be found below. From interviewing to wireframing to storyboarding to many iterations of design and interviewing people to test their experience, this holistic approach to design can be reflected in the project.
Created in collaboration with Darahnea Moua and Spencer Bailey.
