Midwest Mobile shows support for local communities amidst the chaos of the downtown Stoughton explosion

Midwest Mobile wants to give back. They are creating a fund for the community that will go to groups supporting the recovery from this tragic incident as well as local businesses and families that need it.

They are matching all donations made to the community fund. Every year they touch many lives through giving time and monetary donations all throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan. In 2019, $165,500 was donated to 30 local organizations. They care about the future of our youth and have also donated $25,000 in scholarships to students.

The investigation shows a third party subcontractor hit the gas line on site. Despite the complexities of the situation, Midwest Mobile is grateful to have only had two small incidents spanning the entire past decade.

“Midwest Mobile is dedicated to the safety of our local communities. The people we serve are the people we consider our families. We’re privileged to help the people we do and want to extend our help to anyone involved,” said Patricia Cobb, CEO of Midwest Mobile.

The community has also lost two first responders who dedicated their lives to helping others. Capt. Taylor Easton of the Stoughton Police Department and Capt. Jeffrey Watts from Stoughton Fire and Rescue will be remembered as selfless individuals willing to do anything for their community.

Midwest Mobile is constantly expanding to help improve communication and help keep friends and family connected during difficult times. They’re building a new cell tower in downtown Stoughton and hope to continue growing.

Through existing and emerging new technologies they’re able to lead with the best coverage and the best customer service. They strive to earn the trust of all employees, customers and anyone that they interact with.

If you’re working on a project or have questions about natural gas safety, contact the free service Diggers Hotline to get more information to make sure you’re operating as carefully as possible. You can reach them by dialing 811.

Additionally, as always, Midwest Mobile is dedicated to the customer. If any community member has concerns or questions regarding this incident please contact simonekelly@midwestmobile.com
